Our school system assumes it is, but we have doubts. Its focus on narrow assessment testing and academic grades only serves 36% of students well, accurately predicting success on entrance to college straight from high school and moderately predicting success in college itself. We're building research systems that will connect school to business in a way that will, once and for all, define for schools what success actually is and discover what learning experiences are necessary to drive students toward that success.
